The last release of Farah Khan Kunder in Bollywood as a director was 'Happy New Year'. The 2014 film, with Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff, also featured in a cameo role.

It has been known for some time that Farah is getting ready to wear the director's hat again, this time for the remake of the 1982 hit "Satte Pe Satta". While the original film featured Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini, among many other films, the film was originally supposed to feature Shah Rukh and Katrina Kaif in mind. There were also rumors that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone would play the main role in the film. However, Hrithik, whose "Super 30" is on the screens today, has refuted the rumor.

When addressing an entertainment channel, the actor of "Koi Mil Gaya" said that people should not believe the rumors in the dark. Fans should only believe in the official announcements made by him, he added.

To return to the remake of 'Satte Pe Satta', the film is produced by Rohit Shetty. If Hrithik finally endorsed the project, it would mark his first collaboration with Rohit.
