This has been a huge shock for many WWE Universes
This has been a huge shock for many many WWE universes

Road Dogg is one of the creators of SmackDown Live since the split of the brand, but now it seems that he has made the decision to withdraw from his post.

In case you did not do it. I know …

This is the most important week of the year and it seems that frustrations have accumulated both on screen and on screen, as the news of WrestleMania has already shown in recent days.

It's understandable that many on-screen talents have become quite stressed over the past few days, the backroom team has to work about a whole week of WWE content, which can spawn a lot from stress and frustration to another level.

At the Heart of the Problem

According to a report by Dave Meltzer on this morning's Wrestling Observer radio, Road Dogg has made the decision to step down as Creative Director of SmackDown Live. The report goes on to say that various sources have expressed frustration when booking the product alongside Vince McMahon and that this week's SmackDown Live in Brooklyn, New York, was his "breaking point".

Today, I pray that I will face change, it inevitably comes, head on, with faith and courage. The only constant is change! #HOPE #FAITH #OUDK

It was a long week for WWE with last-minute changes all overboard, which could explain why Road Dogg has become so frustrated. It's only Saturday night that he joined the rest of D-Generation X at WWE's Hall of Fame, which shows how dramatically the week has changed for the legend.

Next Steps

A story, but stay tuned to Sportskeeda for any WWE updates over the next few days.

Everyone at Sportskeeda wishes Road Dogg the best of luck in future events, whether at WWE or outside.
