Eight killed Naxals and two policemen martyred during a meeting in Sukma

Eight Naxals and two police officers were killed Monday during a clash between security forces and ultras in Sukma district in Chhattisgarh, police said. Abhishek Meena, the police commissioner of Sukma, told PTI that a team of security personnel had gone on an anti-Naxal operation. Staff members were also killed in the shootout, the PS said. Reinforcements were transported to the scene, he said.
