Billy, the villainous villain of this season, manages to gain enough autonomy to sacrifice himself in order to save Eleven. It was sad!
Eleven loses his powers – it's sad!
But most importantly, Sheriff Hopper dies in a big Russian scientific explosion. It's particularly sad!

Stranger Things 3 was the best season of the series so far. We really enjoyed each episode from start to finish.
It's crazy to watch these children grow up before our eyes. Retained tears throughout the end. Holy hell.
