Actress Alia Bhatt is full of praise for her look in the recently released Kalank teaser. The actor plays a character named Roop in the movie. Alia and Sidharth, accompanied by Varun Dhawan, had made their debut with Bollywood with the movie from Karan in 2012 Student of the year. Varun, who plays Zafar in Kalank, also responded to Sidharth's tweet: "Thank Sid Apko Salaam."

Karan had questioned Sidharth about his break with Alia about an episode of Koffee with Karan, and the actor had said, "We did not see each other after. Our relationship is civil … I do not think she's bitter. It's been a long time. I've known her for much longer before we even went out together. I had my first shot with her in SOTY, there is so much to do.
However, Alia told DNA that in an interview, "Sid and I met. They had shot the episode well before our meeting and so he had to say it. Obviously, we met recently and it was extremely normal.
On the labor front, Sidharth will now be seen with his co-featured Hasee Toh Phasee, Parineeti Chopra, in their second film, Jabariya Jodi. It will also be seen with Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in Marjaavaan

Alia and Varun meet for the fourth time at Kalank, also starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is the dream project of Karan's father, Yash Johar, and his release is scheduled for April 19.
