A summer afternoon, near the beach, in a sumptuous five-star hotel in Mumbai. Brilliant, we spotted Rinku among everyone. She was like a wire in the crowd. After the blockbuster Sairat, his next film, Kaagar, is about to come out and the excitement was visible on his face. Here are excerpts from the frank conversation with the star marathy:
After three years of Sairat, you will return to the big screen with Kaagar. How do you feel?
Rinku: It's amazing to be back. There were many reasons for the break, but I am more than happy and excited to be back in the movies. It's great and I'm also very nervous.
After Archi, we'll see you play Raani in Kaagar. Raani is it different from Archi?
Rinku: Raani is in no way similar to Archi, she is a totally different character. After watching the trailer, many felt she was close to Archi, but it's not like that. I decided to play this role because it was different from Archi. His way of life, his antecedents, his thoughts, his emotions, everything is different. You will realize this by watching the movie in the first 10 minutes.
The popularity of Archi de Sairat is still so strong. Even today, wherever you go, you're first known as Archi, then Rinku …
Rinku: I'm so happy about that . Yes, it is Archi who gave me what I have today. In fact, nobody knew me as Rinku, it's thanks to Archi that people know who Rinku is. So yes, Archi is so expensive. It will always be the closest to my heart. I guess it'll stay that way forever. I think Rinku's charm should remain like Sholay's Basanti's (he laughs again).
When you faced the camera after a three-year break, did something seem different to you?
Rinku: Nothing has changed. The feeling is exactly the same even after three years. There was a void and people began to wait and guess, what does she do next? And it was so huge that I'm afraid to live up to their expectations. But at some point, I think, why not, we all worked so hard on this movie, even me, I worked so hard for Raani that people will like it, I'm sure people also love it. [19659004] The excitement is the same as Sairat, the feeling is the same, what about the nervousness, is it the same thing?
Rinku: Oh yes, I do it again, again. I come in front of everyone as new, new me, new team, new job, everything is so fresh that it seems that everything starts again and that the nervousness is about the same. But yes, the team work and their support made things so easy.
Sairat gave you a lot to cherish and remind you of. What will Kaagar give you?
Rinku: What more do I have to give myself, what should I even expect? I do not know because Sairat gave me almost everything there is. People love me, they shower my love wherever I go, I meet new people every time and the love I get in all these places is so important that I can not even get them. ;explain. We were shooting for Kaagar in this village, and someone offered me a homemade meal in a tiffin after learning that Archi was here for firing. This feeling can not be expressed. I never expect anything from anyone, but accept us what we are, because we describe things as they are, and yes, even if we make mistakes, come tell us.
What exactly does Kaagar mean?
Rinku: Kaagar is a word that belongs to an era 200 years ago. It was used at this time daily. Kaagar means something new, something that is flourishing and new, Kaagar.
After Sairat, many scripts would have arrived, so why Kaagar?
Rinku: Because the first film I did was so good and so huge that I became a household name. So I thought that when I find myself in front of the public, my work has to be good and worth it, the subject has to be good enough, for people to want to watch it. Therefore, I decided to do Kaagar.
Nagraj Manjule is the one who has given you almost everything from name to glory. What did Makarand Mane, director of Kaagar, teach you?
Rinku: A new experience has been experienced by everyone. With Nagraj, he's the one who created me literally. He carved me, gave me what I have today. And when I met Makarand, I had it all in me, he took it from the front but my learning process was still running. He has also taught me a lot, he is a very sensible, very talented director. And more than the directors, these two people are more friends. There is therefore a different comfort to work with them on the trays. I can learn a lot by working with them both. So, yes, both of them gave a lot to cherish, but in a different way.
Rinku, you healed for this movie, you also lost weight and you look different. Was this done to stay in step with industry trends?
Rinku: No, not at all. This has not been done with any intention as such. Yes, I groomed myself and also lost weight, and all this was done for me and not for anything else.
Elections are around the corner and your character, Raani, is active in politics. So, what would you like to say on this note?
Rinku: Abki Baar Kaagar Sarkar … jokes apart, I would like to ask everyone to vote and vote, it's very necessary, you can not complain if you do not do not vote.
What does Kaagar Raani mean to readers?
Rinku: Raani still struggles for the rights of women. As Raani, I will only say: Please, let humanity survive, live life by helping and let everyone live freely. Let everyone have their Kaagar moment, let them flourish.
