Consecutive successes, Maharshi is another different film dealing with a serious social problem. What is the mantra of success?
I try to make movies that excite me and, fortunately, Maharshi is one of those movies. I would like to thank my director, Vamsi Paidipally, for coming up with such a complex subject.
The film is crazy and it has already made its way into 100 crore clubs around the world. How do you feel?
It's really good! All my best hits and their collections that we pbaded in just 4 days … it's like I'm competing 🙂 it's a good thing (he smiles).
Is there any pressure in every film, the audience still having high expectations?
All the actors in each film are under pressure because we all work with the same zing on each film and hope it is a blockbuster. The pressure is huge and only exceeds each film.
On the eve of the release of Maharshi, Namrata Shirodkar issued an encouraging note for you, as well as a very cute photo of you two. She was also part of Maharshi in one way or another. What do you have to say?
Namrata is a very encouraging person and extremely critical of all my work. That said, she is my balancing factor when I doubt for some time. it works (he smiles).
The reaction of your children to Maharshi?
My kids just liked the movie and Sitara watched it in our home theater and said that some scenes made her very emotional (he laughs), she was so sincere in her comments … my son was extremely proud of me.
