In 2014, when Mohanlal, Mammootty and Shah Rukh Khan came together for the 16th annual Ujala Asianet Film Awards, many had hoped that they would collaborate for a film. When I recently had the chance to meet Mammootty on the set of his next drama, Mamangam I obviously could not stop him from asking him questions about this meeting even with Shah Rukh Khan and if that would result in a movie in the near future. It is interesting to note that Shah Rukh Khan was almost finalized for a film with Mammootty and Mohanlal in 1998. "Harikrishnans" was the name of the film that also marked the beginnings of Juhi Chawla in the Malayalam film industry. The producers were keen to embody SRK as the center of Juhi's love interest in the film and they also did a photo shoot with Shah Rukh, Mohanlal, Mammootty and Juhi Chawla. However, eventually, they gave up the idea of launching SRK and it could not be part of the movie. Now, at least, that's what the reports suggest.
