Last night, we announced that Pankhuri Awasthy, who had been away from television for two years, was going to return with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after a leap. It is well known that the show will jump almost five years after which the character of Pankhuri will enter the family of Kartik (Mohsin Khan). In the middle of this, it will be shown that Kartik's family will badume that Naira (Shivangi Joshi) is dead and will attempt to fix Kartik's relationship with Pankhuri's character.
Confirming her entry, Pankhuri told Pinkvilla: "This is a simple but mature girl who will gradually make a place for herself in the family through her gentle, loving and caring attitude."
