How satisfied are you with the response to Notebook music?
He was unprecedented and overwhelming. I am grateful for all the love that has manifested itself. I receive messages from all sides, sharing their memory with the songs, according to which it is simply an overwhelming feeling.
You have already collaborated with Salman. How did he get it?
This is my fourth collaboration with Salman. It was first of all to sing a Marathi song, then the song of Race 3, then that of Rafta Rafta and now. This is by far the most satisfying. It was only a dream. I would never have thought of working with him. I can not even call it a dream, because I have never dreamed of it. It's about having it around you. I am 27 years old and he has been in the industry for over 30 years. He guides you between your good and the bad, tells you what is right or wrong, I simply respect his vision and adore his energy. Even after being such a superstar, he continues to work so hard that it is very inspiring. It's more than a professional contact with him. I am really grateful to have him with us.
Did he guide you or make any suggestions regarding the song-making process?
In fact, it does everything, but it will never interfere in your field. He heard all the songs and gave his contributions, but never interfered with the process. He is happy to let him make his contributions. It's not about the movie or the work, but about being around it, you know. I am glad that one of the few people close to him. he is actually a mentor.
What was the most satisfying part of the work on Notebook music?
This entire album is a very different album. It can not fit into another movie. We had more than 200 musicians and it is the most organic music I have composed up to now. It's electrifying and I'm very happy with it.
