After playing an ideal bahu at Ishqbaaaz, Shrenu Parikh is ready to return to television with a completely different avatar! The actress will play the role of Jhanvi Mittal in Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna. Several promos of the series are already available and Shrenu presents all the characters while showing its dark side. In an exclusive interview with Zoomtv, Shrenu reveals that this show was offered to him almost immediately after leaving Ishqbaaaz, which allowed him to move more quickly from this iconic show.
Talking about the preparation of the role of Jhanvi Mittal Shrenu told us, "I was asked to look at a lot of references and Deepti Ma'am asked me to spend a whole day with me -and even try to better understand the character. We also had theater workshops for this. I took over this character because I found it interesting from the beginning. I would not have taken it if it had not been twisted.
When asked if it was the right choice for her to play a negative role, she replied, "I wanted to play something else this time. I've played different roles on TV until now. There was Aastha of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Du, who mingles with wife whar ghar and who changes her husband, then there was Gauri in Ishqbaaaz who is not educated and ends up in a family like the Oberois. She adds, "I think that after Ishqbaaaz, it was too early, but after the release of the promotions, the fans have already accepted me as Jhanvi." For me, it was a transition period that to forget about others and become Jhanvi. "
Was it easier to leave Ishqbaaaz? "As I said, I did not have time to make the transition. But I was following these workshops and we started driving in February. So, I had enough time now to get into Jhanvi's character. So yes, the transition time was shorter but I managed to do it now. "
