The filmmaker wants to shoot several seasons at different locations, capture the appropriate setting for the Udham Singh biopic and has therefore extended the calendars over the next few months.
Shoojit Sircar's animal project – the biopic on Udham Singh – has been in preparation for some time. Last year, the film was supposed to be filmed with Irrfan, but after the diagnosis of neuro-endocrine cancer, the filmmaker decided to push his film and wait for his hero to come back completely healed. But it is Irrfan who suggested he go ahead with the film and not delay it further.
It is at this point that Vicky Kaushal was chained for the same thing. Vicky, who has made herself known with superb consecutive performances at Raazi, Sanju and Uri, is currently the biggest boy Bollywood poster. Vicky started the film in the UK, then went to the US for a mini-vacation after the end of the first program.
But the film will not be released in the theater until next year. According to one source, "Shoojit has made his plan properly, he does not want to compromise on the scale at which he wants to ride Sardar Udham Singh, his scenario requires a lot of seasonal changes in the film and the schedules are planned. October's director will also begin with Gulaabo Sitaabo, with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana in between, while Vicky also plans to block his free dates for other projects being engaged to. "
