The week was long enough for fashion. The Cannes Film Festival is in full swing and celebrities serve excellent looks. Deepika Padukone opted for a couture dress that reminds us of the one worn by Jennifer Lopez last year, giving us a perfect fashion showdown.
The month of May can be called a month of fashion, with the number of events going on. First, we had the MET Gala, where celebrities dressed in the most campist fashion and gave us great fashionable looks. Then we have the Cannes Film Festival where all our favorite A-listers have played epics on the red carpet. One of the looks was that of Deepika Padukone. She has opted for a neon green ruffle dress that is reminiscent of the dress Jennifer Lopez wore last December for the same designer! a ruffled skirt and ruffled sleeves with a long train. She has accessorized her look with a pretty satin bow around her neck and a matching headband. Her hair was pulled back and her makeup was fresh and clean with highlighter charges. Although we liked the dress, the color made it look faded and the satin band that pulled her hair back just did not fit her outfit.
JLo, on the other hand, had opted for a similar outfit from the same designer in pink. Lopez has adopted the look and badociated with six-inch silver platform pumps and a pretty pink pouch. Her hair was pulled up into a high-chic knot while her makeup was pretty and matching her dress – pink cheeks, bright pink lips and just enough highlighter completed her look.
