The showbiz world is full of superheroes, but for a lot of TV actors, their fathers are their real superheroes. On the occasion of Father's Day, June 16, celebrities from the Hindi television industry shared their thoughts:
Faisal Khan (Chandragupta Maurya in 'Chandragupta Maurya &'
My father was my most important pillar of support in My life is a person whom I admired for everything. Coming from a middle-clbad family, I never felt deprived of anything, my father having always met my needs and never letting me feel otherwise. My father has always been a supplier and the backbone of our family. I still remember the time he was driving a rickshaw to win our family and now he's doing it for fun. I am so happy that my father is proud of me and it is thanks to his hard work and support that I have reached the stage where I am today.
Reem Shaikh (Kalyani in "Tujhse Hai Raabta")
My father has been a constant support throughout my journey and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. He is my best friend, he always guides me and helps me make the right choices and make the right choices. I am more than grateful to him because he is a blessing in my life. He is the first person I want to share things with and ask for advice.
Ashnoor Kaur (Mini in 'Patiala Babes')
More than a father, he is like a brother to me. We are the best friends in the world and we are really open to each other and that is why I am comfortable sharing everything with him. Among all the beautiful moments that I shared with my father, my favorite moment was to tell him that the day of my birth, he was so happy and delighted that he organized a big party with his family and his friends. Hearing this, I felt really special at a time when people were sad about the birth of a girl at home, my father broke the norm and was the happiest father in the world.
Sehban Azim (Malhar Rane in "Tujhse Hai Raabta")
A father always makes infinite sacrifices for his children and I have always yearned to look like my father someday. There are many things that I do and pursue in life that I have borrowed and apprehended from my father and there are many more that I have the intention to imitate him. My father is my superhero and always will be.
Reyhna Pandit (Mohini in "Manmohini")
My father is my hero and I owe him everything that I am today. He is the pillar of the strength of our family and does not even let any problem get to us. My dad always maintained a positive state of mind and I chose him. I am blessed to have it as my rock and hope to take it on vacation around my birthday and have a good time with it.
Eisha Singh (Zara in 'Ishq Subhan Allah')
When I was 5 years old and my father was coming back from the office, I used to run fast and to hide from me and wait for him to find me. I had a habit of reaching out and he had the habit of running and hugging me. I will never forget these moments. My father is my superhero and I think Father's Day is the perfect day to thank him for all his sacrifices and his unconditional love. I know that his guiding hand will always be on my shoulder and, whatever it may be, his confidence in me will help me face with courage any situation.
Sneha Wagh (Mura in "Chandragupta Maurya")
My father is very humble and simple man. He has transmitted me the same traits for which I am very grateful to him. When I first entered this industry and people began to recognize me, he always suggested that I be humble with everyone and never forget the obstacles I faced and the way I feel about it. I started my journey.
