Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh responded to rumors that she had an affair with the actor Aamir Khan. In an interview with Filmfare, she stated that she felt confused by the rumors.
"A little earlier, I was affected. I would feel bad. Because I have never dealt with such things at such a high level. A group of strangers I have never met write about me. They do not even know if there is any truth whatsoever. Readers who read it badume that I am not a good person. You want to say to this person: "Ask me, I will give you an answer". It bothers me because I do not want people to take bad things. People should see my asliyat (if I am a bad person in reality, people should see my reality). But if that's not the case, I do not want them to see me as a bad person. But I learned to ignore it. Yet there are days when I am touched, "she said in the interview.

Fatima was also questioned about the rumors in an interview with Bollywood Hungama in December. "If anyone accuses you of something, the first instinct is to go out and say," Listen, why do you think it's like that? "If you are an aggressive person, you will attack, if you are a submissive person, you will even talk about it," she said.
Fatima worked with Aamir in Dangal (her first film) and Thugs of Hindostan. Dangal was a box-office success and made more than 2,000 crores of rupees worldwide, becoming the most successful film of Bollywood. However, Thugs of Hindostan is considered one of the biggest commercial disappointments of 2018. Built on a budget of 335,000 Rs, it only reported Rs 260 at the box office.
