Filmmaker Karan Johar announced on Monday his first horror franchise entitled Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Vessel which stars Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. The filmmaker shared the film's poster, in which we can see a terrified Vicky Kaushal screaming against a window while a woman's hand grabbed her face. "Presenting Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship The first of the franchise, featuring the highly talented Vicky Kaushal, directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, en route to you on November 15, 2019," he has -titled the post. Karan Johar Productions, directed by Karan Johar, also shared some glimpses of the film.
However, the most important film for Karan Johar's horror film came from Ram Gopal Varma, who directed the 2003 film Bhoot that can still send chills into the back. "Hey Karan Johar, the poster looks great! I can not wait to see the intense Vicky Kaushal in this genre." Karan Johar replied, "Thank you for your generosity Ramu … It means a lot to all of us in the Dharma movies."
