Eight seasons and 73 episodes seem huge, but that's not enough to do justice to each of the hundreds of characters in the Game of Thrones saga. This is how the series is racing without completely linking its many facets.

Forgotten characters like Meera Reed and Daario Naharis to the prophecies that never materialized, here are all the links that the series never solved.

Meera Reed

Meera Reed is truly one of the unsung heroes of the Game of Thrones saga. The Purpose of Night Watch

The series ends with Jon Snow, back to his starting point, banished to lead a quiet dark life in Night Watch. Which raises a rather important question: why is there still a night watch? The purpose of the organization was to protect the Seven Kingdoms from threats to the north. But now that peace has been established between Winterfell and the wildlings and the White Walkers have been settled, what exactly is the night guard against?
