Summary of Season 1 to 7 of the Throne Season
Season 8 of Game of Thrones begins on April 15th in India.

First of the last season of the biggest television drama is almost on us. We sympathize if you do not remember very well the events of previous seasons.

The story of the series is complex and the characters are numerous. There are dozens of noble houses, all vying for iron thrones. There are several continents, several religions, cultures, etc. Everything can become overwhelming.

The show does not explain too much history or the world, which is good, but it can spoil your immersion in the story unless you have read the books or official guides provided by HBO. [19659006] In addition, there was no Game of Thrones last year. It's been two years since we saw the show for the last time.

Do not worry, because we provide here a brief summary of everything that has happened in the show so far. This is not an alternative to look at all previous seasons, but it will certainly help you remember events and key characters if you have seen all the episodes up to now.

Season 1

The story begins in the north, at Winterfell, the ancestral castle of the Stark House. The continent is Westeros. Lord Eddard Stark has two daughters and four sons (including a bastard). He is a close friend of King Robert of the Baratheon House, who reigns since King's Landing in the south. Robert and Eddard were adoptive brothers who took part in Robert's rebellion, a war they waged against Targaryen House, which was the ruling house before Baratheon. The reason was that Eddard's sister was apparently kidnapped and raped by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen. Eddard's father and older brother were also burned alive by the mad king.

Robert now asks Eddard to be the king's hand. Eddard accepts, not only because of Robert, but also because he receives a letter from Lysa, Catelyn's sister, who lived in King's Landing with her husband and former Hand, Jon Arryn, but escaped from Eyrie, his house. The letter says that the Lannisters conspire against the throne. Eddard soon enters into conflict with the Lannisters at King's Landing, particularly when it is said that the Lannisters are at the root of his younger son's disability, Bran Stark, who discovered the incestuous relationship of Jaime and Cersei Lannister.

Eddard is arrested and even dead as his daughters watch. King Robert had died earlier while he was hunting wild boars. Eddard's son, Robb, takes command of the armies of the North and declares war on the Lannisters

Jon, the bastard of Edard, goes to the Wall to play the role of brother of Night's Watch. Hateful initially, he comes to love the place especially when he realizes the importance of his work. Beyond the wall, which serves as the border of the kingdom, live the savages and the whitewalkers, superhuman-strong beings that it is almost impossible to kill. They are led by the king of the night, who is the main antagonist of the series.
