On April 14, Game of Thrones returns for its eighth and final season. HBO released a teaser for its next edition and it's no surprise that Game of Thrones images are getting the most attention. The clip begins with an aerial shot of the wall, whose eastern corner is now in ruins thanks to the Night King and the Undead Viserion.
Next, the clip teases the new TV series Euphoria, Just Gems, Mrs. Fletcher, Big Little Lies, The Deuce, Veep, Barry, Years and Years and so on. The Deadwood movie is also teased. Talk shows like Real Time with Bill Maher and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver are also teased.
And we see a photo of Drogon, the largest Daenerys Targaryen dragon, crossing the air like a fake over Unsullied on the move, presuming to arrive at Winterfell. Arya Stark looks up at pierced Drogon.
Some footage from the next DC Comics series, Watchmen, can also be seen. Jeremy's Ozymandias blows a candle on a cake. The clip ends with the collapse of the wall after Viserion's badault.
Game of Thrones will be back in its eighth and final season. It is expected that the season will resolve the conflict for the Iron Throne, a power struggle that lasts since the broadcast of the pilot episode. But the bulk of the season will likely be spent on the war between Westeros, led by Jon Snow, Daenerys and the Night King.
Game of Thrones season 8 will be presented on April 14th.
