The wait for Game of Thrones has been very long. And we hope it will be worth it. Game of Thrones season 8, episode 1, made its appearance after two years. The last time we saw the show, the producers left the fans on a cliffhanger with the help of the White Walkers and the Night King. The last episode featured some amazing twists. The show finally revealed the true identity of Jon Snow, Jon and Daenerys Targaryen have fully consumed their charm and the White Walkers have pierced the wall. Well, saying that they destroyed it would sound better. Our heart still hurts when we remember how Dany's dragon helped the king of the night to break the wall and the walkers went to the other side.

And now, we finally have the details of GoT Season 8, Episode 1, in our hands and it's an adventure. Here are some highlights: WARNING: THE COMING SHIPS.

The wait is over. The Unsullied, Dothraki and Daenerys dragons made a royal entrance to Winterfell while the North and Wildlings were greeted with a worried heart. But they were not welcomed with good news. Bran advance to inform the duo that one of Dany's dead dragons has joined the dead team.

An episode of reunion:

Jon meets with Bran Stark: What an emotional moment. During all this time, we only imagined it in our heads. And now, it's finally here.

Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark:

At one point, they were husband and wife. But today, Sansa is the lady of Winterfell while Tyrion presents herself as the queen's hand.

Arya Stark meets Jon Snow: We have tears in our eyes when we see Jon and Arya getting together. He meets Needle, the sword Jon gave to Arya when he presents her sword before she is moved by the Stark family.

Arya meets the dog: After letting him die, Arya and the dog together, and our hearts went, YES! Arya also met his friend, Gendry, said bastard King Robert.

Cersei Lannister reaffirms his alliance with Euron Greyjoy:

With his Iron Fleet, Euron returns to King's Landing with Yara as a prisoner. He has motives for "f ** k the queen". And he is not alone. He has with him the golden company that is there to support Lannister's army at King's Landing. Cersei sleeps with Euron but she obviously has other plans for him. We know Cersei well.

Theon rescues Yara:

After all this time, Theon overcomes his fears and saves his sister before venturing into the North to join Jon and other people so to fight against whites. Walkers.

Jon Riding the Dragon:

Our heart stopped beating when we saw Jon climb on the back of the dragon and fly in the air, with Dany by his side. Like everyone in Winterfell, we could not believe our eyes. The moment ends with Jon and Dany kissing with the picturesque waterfall forming the backdrop.

Ser Jorah introduces Samwell to Dany:

Daenerys meets Samwell Tarly, the man who rescued Ser Jorah from Citadel. It was during this meeting that the queen revealed that Sam's father and brother had not bent the knee and lost the lives of the dragons. Sam is broken and leaves the room with emotion. He meets Bran who informs him that it is time for Jon to know the truth about his roots

Jon learns that he is a Targaryen:

Jon finds Sam Friends reconnect before Sam informs Jon that he is the king of the seven kingdoms. He shares his knowledge: his mother was Lyanna Stark, his father was Rhaegar Targaryen. Obviously, Jon is incredulous. He reveals that Ned Stark has hidden the secret to protect Jon from King Robert. Jon is at a crossroads, as he discovers his past. Should he demand his birthright or should he stick to his new queen?

The message of the king of nights:

The episode finally touches the king of nights. The troop that protects the south of the wall meets the Night's Watch, which came from Castle Black. The troop finds the Umber Boy stuck against the wall with the motivation to send a message.

Ser Jamie Lannister Meets Brad Stark:

When Bran talks with Samwell, he tells him that he's waiting for a friend. We did not know it was Jamie Lannister he was talking about. The regicide landed at Winterfell and our hearts stopped, as did the episode.
