To learn more about Game of Thrones Season 8, discover the importance of Missandei's last words, why fans are so furious about Ghost's treatment by Jaime, why Jaime made this questionable choice in Episode 4 and to see which dead characters are still alive in the books.

With only two episodes of Game of Thrones remaining, the time has come for the final confrontation between Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister. A single queen can rule Westeros. And the new pics of episode 5 show two teams that are preparing for one of the biggest battles in the history of the series.

As was the case for the episodes of the previous season 8, HBO will not unveil the title of episode 5 before. time. However, we know how long this episode will last – it is timed at 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Check out all the new images of season 8 without spoiler below, as well as the series of trailers for episode 5: [19659004]

These photos are centered on both factions that are preparing for the upcoming battle. One photo shows a triumphant Cersei, while another sees Harry Strickland, commander of the Golden Company, leading his army of mercenaries on the ground.

This augurs badly for the troops of Dany and Jon, who barely survived the Battle of Winterfell and could probably use a vacation before embarking. in another destructive war. This lbaditude is evident in the images of Jon and Ser Davos, who do not seem particularly pleased to be at King's Landing.

Good news for our heroes is that Dany seems to let cold heads reign. Several images show Dany, Tyrion and Gray Worm at the Dragonstone Fortress. Rather than immediately retaliating against Cersei after Missandei's death, Dany seems willing to regroup and wait for Jon's troops to reinforce his own forces. As we anticipated in the breakdown of our trailer, Dany's return to Dragonstone could be motivated in part by the desire to forge protective armor for his latest dragon, Drogon.

Whatever the plan of Dany, these images show that Euron is no more as bold as it was in the world. Episode 4. Dany must surely have a trick in his bag to thwart Euron's fleet of scorpion gunships.

It is impossible to say from these images. if we will actually see the final battle for the Iron Throne unfold in episode 5, or if this conflict is being saved for the final of the series. But given the long duration of this episode, and the fact that the cast said that episode 5 is bigger than episode 3, we would badume that these images are taken from the first scenes and that we will have a major action and the death of many characters in the penultimate episode.
