The Game of Thrones final decided who would be the king. The end of Game of Thrones, ladies and gentlemen. And as we feared, the final, although better than most episodes of this season, has not caught up with the last two seasons.
The episode begins when Tyrion Lannister crosses the rubble that was once King's Landing. He Denies Jon Snow's Suggestion to Take Men to Protect Him
Jon and Davos stumble upon Gray Worm and his Unsullied executing unarmed Lannister soldiers. Gray Worm says that he only follows the order of his queen.
Tyrion reaches the place where Jaime and Cersei have reached their end. He sees Jaime's hand (the golden hand) and collapses.
Daenerys Targaryen, fresh out of a genocide, delivers an exhilarating speech about "liberating" the world and breaking the wheel. Tyrion arrives. Daenerys looks at Tyrion and reminds him of his betrayal. Tyrion throws his broach in his hand and is carried away by the unknown.
Jon Snow meets Tyrion Lannister in what looks like an ordinary prison room. Tyrion asks him to kill Daenerys essentially. Jon, incredibly stupid since his return from the dead, still believes that Daenerys can be a good queen. That's another matter, it killed more people in a day than probably Cersei Lannister and the Crazy King could handle in their lifetime.
Jon confronts Daenerys in the throne room or what's left of it. The wall on the left of Iron Throne was taken by Drogon. Jon arrives while Daenerys looks at the throne with tenderness. He reminds her of the mbadacre and says that there can be no other ideas of a better world, other than those of Dany. When he sees that she is beyond reason, he pretends to understand and stabs her, thus killing her. Drogon, standing outside, enters the throne room and cries in his own way. And he does not kill Jon. So that was the purpose of the looks he had given Jon: to recognize the targaryen blood that flowed in his veins. He melts the iron throne (probably thinking that if his mother could not have it, no one would want it).
Jon is jailed by Gray Worm
After a few months late, Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, Stark Bran, Gendry Baratheon, Yara Greyjoy, even Edmure Tully (Tobias Menzies at a surprise appearance) and d & Other Lords of the Seven Kingdoms arrive at King's Landing and request the release of Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow. Gray Worm takes them Tyrion, but not Jon. Tyrion says the new king should decide what to do with Jon. The cutworm accepts. But someone points out that there is no king. Tyrion says that they should choose one.
Samwell Tarly, now the wisest man in Westeros, states that the people should also be allowed to elect their leader, thus proposing the idea of a representative democracy. Everyone laughs at the suggestion. Tyrion puts forward Bran's name as king and his reasoning for choice, like everything this season has, does not make sense. Everyone is in agreement. Sansa says that the North will be an independent kingdom, to which Bran is in agreement. Tyrion calls him King of the Six Kingdoms, but would not he be a single kingdom if he were the king of all? Seven kingdoms were not really seven kingdoms. This name comes from ancient times when they were actually seven independent kingdoms. Now that the North is separated, it makes no sense to call them six kingdoms.
The Unsullied want Jon's death and others want him alive. They make a compromise and send it back instead. Arya leaves her. She's going west anymore. Sansa is crowned queen of the north. Ser Bronn of the Blackwater is the master of the pieces, Ser Davos Seaworth is the master of the ships, Ser Brienne of Tarth is the Lord Commander of the King's Guard (is there still a King's Guard?) And Samwell Tarly is the great maester. [19659006] Jon Snow is on the wall. He meets Tormund and Ghost. The last scene leads him to the north of the savages, which will probably help them to rehabilitate themselves. The curtain falls.
