Eight seasons, brilliant characters and a story so complex and so compelling that you can not stop watching it even if you wish – that's what Game Of Thrones has given us over the years . With the finale episode, The Iron Throne, the show in this series is over.
If you find this season disappointing, or you like all these characters, when you were abandoned without any resolution, the last episode could do it depends on you. The visuals were incredible and the story literally closed the loop. In addition, most of our predictions for the final have really come true! Although we do not explicitly reveal the details of the episode, here is our report without spoiler:
Mourning Tyrion
If the previous episode destroyed King & # Landing, we take this one with the survivors. deal with the consequences. Of all the characters, it is Tyrion whose grief is the most palpable. What he discovers under the red dungeon could break the hardest hearts.
Despite his disillusionment, Tyrion acknowledges his love for Daenerys and asks Jon something that the real heir to the Iron Throne is unable to give at first, although he knows it. how bad things are going. Their discussion of love, duty and death is certainly something fans would like to see again and again in the years to come.
Drogon's Mother
Daenerys, the great winner at the end of the last episode, has now become that formidable mythical creature badociated with the Targaryen House. The Dragon is awake and she will not fall asleep easily. Dany's diary, as complicated as it is, proves that she triumphs over her victory.
If you are not happy with Dany's bow this season, you may have difficulty with his scenes. Her fate was sealed as she began her carnage journey and she got what she deserved.
Drogon's anger is powerful, but it seems like the last living dragon has more meaning than his mother. It destroys the source of all games and breaks the wheel in Westeros once and for all.
The Last Lords and Ladies
The last lords and ladies of Westeros come together to decide the fate of their lands, there are clearly many characters coming out of the woods. But how will they govern? Sam's suggestion of democracy is ridiculed as a bad joke, just like Edmure Tully (who knew now that he had survived, huh?).
What's going on may seem like a low resolution, especially if you're not happy with this season. But to think about it, Tyrion's advice to the board is based on a logic, which is quite valid. We are just happy that Tyrion has found his mojo at the end of the show and the fact that the wheel is broken forever.
No justice for Jon Snow?
While power is handed over to the hands of all our beloved characters, it is the fate of Jon Snow that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Of course, he looks happy with the people who love him at the end, but what about all the sacrifices he's made throughout his long and painful trip?
It seems that Jon's story has always been about duty rather than living life fully and his fate, like that of his aunt Dany, is sealed. The biggest source of money here is that he has found his animal counterpart, and no, he is not a dragon.
A story where the good win at the end, despite all the difficulties, is always nice, especially if the story is well told. The makers of Game Of Thrones have not been able to tell the story well at least in the last two seasons. The season has been riddled with problems since the beginning, fans even asking for a remake of last season!
But to tell the truth, the resolution at the end of the series, though predictable, was delivered. Could the writing have been better? Yes of course. David Benioff and DB Weiss were in a hurry to complete the series, which clearly had a negative impact on the series.
What we, fans, need to remember, is that despite all the pitfalls, Game of Thrones still manages to leave. an indelible mark on the soul of every spectator immersed in history. And finally, the manufacturers delivered the "sweet-bitter end" that they had promised.
The trip was bumpy, but what trip would not be? Game Of Thrones has delivered romance, tragedy, action and humor over the years through some of the most amazing characters, and this has been completely entertaining.
Each Thronie will come back and watch the series again and again. Most will even recommend it to others, even if we are not completely satisfied with the unfolding of the story. So, while we say goodbye to this beloved series and look forward to the precedents, we must remember that our watch is not really finished yet.
