Game of Thrones season 8 will air simultaneously on Hotstar in India

Unlike previous years, the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will air simultaneously on Hotstar in India, which means that members of The Streaming Service can watch the highly anticipated return of the epic fantasy series at the same time as HBO subscribers in the US Thrones is no longer airing simultaneously in India since season 5 , when it was broadcast on Star World at the same time as HBO, but in a modified version, due to the methods of self-censorship of Indian television.

This is great news for the Game of Thrones in India, because they will not be an hour or more behind the international audience as before. But as with anything related to Hotstar, it was silently revealed in unpretentious teasers . With previous seasons, new episodes of Thrones would only be available on Hotstar after the end of their broadcast on HBO, which is 7:30 am Eastern Daylight Saving Time or later. This problem would have been aggravated by the last season of the series, which should include several episodes of one hour. Three of the remaining five episodes have a battery life of about one hour and twenty minutes.
