At the age of 15, Mayoori chose to act rather than register at the IIT Kanpur. She debuted with the award-winning film Naseem in 1945. She subsequently appeared in films as [19459004Jeet Badal and Papa the Great . During her stay as an actor, she worked with Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher, Arshad Warsi, Kapoor Shakti, Rani Mukerji and other notable celebrities.
After her marriage, she moved to settle in the United States. There, she earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business.
