The King of Monsters claimed the status of King of Heaven after NASA included Godzilla in his list of gamma-ray constellations.
Across the large Fermi Telescope (LAT) area launched in 2008, scientists were able to see the sky illuminate with light points from various gamma-ray emissions. These can come from supernovas, super mbadive black holes, nova bursts and other spatial phenomena, according to a statement.
Returning to the constellation Godzilla, the illustration represented the iconic monster of its original Japanese design and even included a flare.

The other icons of pop culture have also received their own gamma constellations, including the USS. Enterprise of "Star Trek" and TARDIS of "Doctor Who".
Constellations were also given to the destination sites in the honor of the countries participating in the Fermi mission. Japan, for example, has a constellation for the famous mountain. Fuji.
A special website was created to display the 88 different constellations. You can consult it via this link. / ra
