Directed by the beginner K Chakravarty of
Jai Lava Kusa fame,
Pantham – Gopichand's 25th flagship film – is an extravagant commercial film. Featuring Gopi Sunder's music and Prasad Murella's cinematography
Attarintiki Daaredi fame,
Pantham is the story of a vigilante (Gopichand) who targets a criminal named Nayak Bhai for unknown reasons. Armed with his sidekick (Srinivas Reddy), the protagonist continues to steal money from Bhai and put it to good use. In the mix are also various characters played by Mehreen Pirzada, Sayaji Shinde, Jaya Prakash, Prudhvi Raj, among others.
With the first half of the film ending on a cliffhanger, the second half should, hopefully, answer all the questions that the first half asks. Who is it still to be named vigilante? What is his beef with Nayak Bhai? Is there any reason why the rest of the characters are in the story?

The first half of the film has been a commercial ride up to now, meandering around what it really means. Gopi Sunder's music worked as well, while Prasad's cinematography is rich. It remains to be seen how the second half will happen.
