To his credit, Angle probably placed Corbin first on his list while both were trained in a stalemate since Stephanie McMahon chose the latter as acting director of RAW in the absence of Angle. The two men also clashed several times in the ring, but Angle lost his last clash in January.
While waiting for big fish to appear in his announcement, the fans are disappointed to say the least. The fact that he is facing an "unbearable" opponent for the big night did not sit well with many people present at the Chicago Allstate Arena, which followed the big revelation with scandals and songs of Cena.
WWE supporters on Twitter were not satisfied either. Angle deserves a better sending, as mentioned by many.

Kurt Angle should have his last game against John Cena, which is the most logical since Cena played his WWE's first match against Kurt and that would be a good start for him since they've got that tie.
