Box Office: Gully Boy Shines Worldwide, Earns Rs 60 Crores
Gully Boy To Whom Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt play the main pair, shines at the global box office. The musical drama, at the end of its second weekend in the overseas markets, raised $ 8.4 million. In Indian currency, the amount equates to Rs 59.52 crore
While the USA + Canada circuit reported Gully Boy to $ 4,216 million, the UAE + GCC market earned him $ 1.641 million of dollars. In the UK and Australia, the film hit £ 512,000 and AUD 770,000 respectively.

While Gully Boy received immense love abroad, it has proven to be a phenomenal success at home. At the national box office, the film earned more than 118 crores of rupees in 11 days of filming. If we believe the experts, the film will soon touch the crore-mark of 125 Rs.
Gully Boy co-written and directed by Zoya Akhtar, is loosely based on the life of Street rappers based in Mumbai, Divine and Naezy. Basically, it is the story of an outsider with a dream. The character in question is Murad, brilliantly described by Ranveer, who breaks the chains of reality to become a well-known rapper.
Gully Boy a joint production company of Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Productions, also includes Siddhant Chaturvedi, Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz and Vijay Varma, among others. The film was screened on February 14th.
