At first, I will say that Gully Boy is a good movie. It's a story told with fantastic actors, good music and fun characters. The story of an outsider from a Mumbai rapper trying to change his life is a wonderful cinematic story.
I say that because you might think it's a hit and a chorus. This is not the case, I enjoyed the film and I recommend you watch it.
The problem with this film is that it seems to borrow generously from 8 Mile . Gully Boy compared the 2002 Hollywood movie with Eminem, starring Eminem and now deceased, Brittany Murphy. I will illustrate why these comparisons are inevitable and rightly so.
