Private images of Hansika Motwani have recently been leaked online and the actor has reacted. Hansika said she would wear a bikini for a movie, but that disclosing her photos online is a flagrant violation of privacy. Hansika also claimed that some of the images disclosed are being transformed.
In an interview with the Times of India, Hansika said the event was discouraging. She said, "Dealing with the embarrbadment caused by the flight of your private images (some of them being transformed) into the public domain is already quite serious, and seeing such comments was really hurtful. Some people have had the nerve to say that since I did a bikini in the past, what about the problem if such images are divulged? Well, it's a big problem. First of all, some images are morphed, which means that they are not exactly mine. And secondly, when I do a bikini shoot for a movie or magazine, I do it by choice. Here it is distributed without my consent. So there is a big difference between the two. What happened here is a flagrant violation of my privacy. "
She also said that she was grateful to the fans who launched the hashtag #IStandByHansika on social media and said that their support had helped her. To her detractors, she said, "I do not need to attract anyone's attention. Throughout my career, I have kept a low profile and this also reflects my way of driving me on social networks.
Hansika also explained that there was something wrong with her phone; his Twitter account was hacked after a visit to the United States recently. Once she realized that something was wrong, she contacted Twitter to alert her fans of hacking.
