Only human! Thank you for telling my story. Posted @withrepost • @officialhumansofbombay "I was this dark, tall and lean child, to whom his life had been very well prepared. I would graduate and work with my father. Even though in my heart I wanted to do something different, something bigger and better, I never felt like I could. But when I attended a fashion show, just for fun, I met a photographer who wanted to click on my photos. For me it was an excellent opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. To my surprise, the photographs are really out! This has opened me the doors of modeling. Soon, I was offered my first film! There was no look back from there, I went ahead and up. But nothing is worth it to be easy. I was 17 years old when I entered the industry, I had never seen the world or even understood life. With all the success came the examination. I was not ready for that. I did not know how to speak Hindi, I shuddered at the thought of being in front of the camera. I reached a point where after a few movies, my career took a break. I did my best, but I still felt like I was lagging behind. It's not easy being celebrated for a moment and ignored the next. I remember producers who, without any reason, have thrown me out of their movies. The universe was not in my favor, but I had to keep trying anyway. It was at this time that I decided to reinvent and enter Big Brother. It was a chance to do something unique. But that ended up having a huge impact! I was publicly bullied and discriminated against just because of the country I belonged to. It was not easy, I was alone in this house! But I let myself go – I could not give up, not after reaching this stage. When I won, people always said to me, "You made us proud." It was then that I knew that all this struggle and persistence was worth it. I got up not only for myself, but for all those who had faced racism. My life has been filled with ups and downs. The times were terrible, but there were also great achievements. I enjoyed every minute! That's what makes me what I am today – a strong independent woman, a proud actor, a wife and a mother. And I would not have it otherwise. "
Shilpa Shetty's last film release was back with Apne in 2007. "I think I've become too practical about (picking one) script, my sense of script has changed and it comes with the time and experience.I is my 25th year in the industry and I have not made a movie for eight-nine years, people still have confidence in me, be it through a small screen or digital space, "said Shilpa recently in interaction with PTI.
Once again, I wish this beautiful woman a happy birthday again. which is more and more beautiful from day to day.
