A day before Virat Kohli's birthday, West Indian legend Brian Lara congratulated the Indian skipper and said he was happy to see that cricket had found its new leader. Recently, Virat Kohli became the fastest drummer to score 10,000 FDI points. The Indian captain crossed the threshold in just 205 innings, improving the previous Sachin Tendulkar record with 259 innings. however, the Indian captain said that even after breaking records at will, he felt no "sense of entitlement".
