Before Happy Phirr's trailer Bhag Jayegi fell, the creators revealed a motion poster in which Sonakshi Sinha unveiled three other actors in the film. Movie badyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the motion poster. In this poster, Sonakshi opens a wooden momo container and three actors come out. They are Jimmy Shergill, Piyush Mishra and Jbadi Gill.
The creators have also released some dialogue promos that suggest that someone named Happy is on the run. However, we do not know if they talk about Diana Penty, who played Happy in the first film, or Sonakshi, who will be seen in the sequel.

The film, directed by Muddbadar Aziz, also starring Diana Penty, Abhay Deol and Ali Fazal in important roles. Diana was the head in the original, Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016). It was the sleeper of the year.

Happy Bhag Jayegi with Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill leading the roles. The film received positive reviews and had a decent impact at the box office. Made at a budget estimated at Rs 20 crore, the film raised Rs 28.19 crore at domestic wickets
The film traced the story of Happy (Diana) who fled her own marriage to Amritsar and landed in Lahore, at Pakistan
In Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, Sonakshi plays a truck driver. Speaking of the role, she said in a previous interview: "I have a little practice driving manual cars, but this mini-truck was not a cake walk. It was a very old and heavy vehicle and because it was manual, the steering and gears were extremely tiring and required a lot of force to maneuver. As it was a pursuit sequence, I had to speed up the pace, but with enough talent to guide my course safely on the roads. Having to burn rubber with this huge beast was quite a challenge, but when you had it, the feeling was amazing. "
