– The Hardy Boyz won the Smackdown team championships in this week's episode, but was later angered by Lars Sullivan. The Hardys defeated Jey and Jimmy Uso at Smackdown to win the titles, ending the Usos race at fifty-one days. This is the first race of the team with these special titles and its eighth reign on the WWE team title (nine if we count the number of victories in the WCW team championship).
After the match, Sullivan approached the ring and attacked the two Hardys, bringing them out. He follows his debut on Raw where he badaulted Kurt Angle.
