HBO kept Arya's greatest moment in Game of Thrones secret for years

The main spoilers of the Game of Thrones Season 8 are coming. We have been building for years towards the final confrontation between the living and the dead and that could not have been worse for the living in episode 3 of the Battle of Winterfell.

Then the highlight: with a powerful shout and a fancy knife job, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), the skilled badbadin, plunged a Valyrian steel dagger into the Night King, disintegrating him as well than all his mortal creations.

David Benioff and D.B., spectators of Game of Thrones Weiss appeared in an Inside the Episode documentary to reveal that they were keeping the present moment of Arya secret for three years. "I think it's three years now or something, we know it's Arya who is going to wear that fatal blow," Benioff said. Maybe it's just me, but he seemed relieved that the final event was finally unveiled in the open air.

Arya had a hard battle that caused her to be hit on the head, showing that she was not invincible. "She seemed to be the best candidate as long as we did not think about her at that time," Weiss said.

The episode sparked many characters at risk, distracting us from where Arya stood until she sort of nowhere with a barbaric yawn to save that which remained of the day.

Benioff said he and Weiss had targeted for the unexpected, so the heroic Jon Snow did not get the call to dismiss Night King.

"It's a win for the living, but it was expensive because some of our favorite characters are on the way," says Benioff. At least badbad Arya was not among them .
