Arjun Reddy celebrates Vijay Deverakonda's next hero at a pooja ceremony. The film will see the actor in front of Malavika Mohanan and is directed by Anand Annamalai. The film marks the beginnings of Anand as a director. The shooting of the film takes place today and director Koratala Siva was in the spotlight at the launch. The directors of the film went on Twitter and shared some pictures of the launch event today. Vijay still looks elegant in a traditional avatar, while Malavika is gorgeous in a pastel sari.
The hero will see Vijay play a professional biker and will undergo rigorous training for the role. On the other hand, Malavika who was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer Petta will be seen for the first time in front of Vijay Deverakonda. The daughter of famed cinematographer KU Mohanan, Malavika made her film debut alongside Dulquer Salman in a 2013 Malaysian film called Pattam Pole. Malavika Mohanan was also seen in Beyond the Clouds by Iranian director Majid Majidi, alongside Bollywood star Ishaan Khatter. Fans are now anxious to see Vijay and Malavika on the big screen. For its release in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, Hero will be financed by Mythri Movie Makers.
As Hero's preparatory work begins, Vijay Deverakonda is also busy with her upcoming film, Dear Camar, alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
