TV star Hina Khan, who debuted at Cannes last week, has now shared new photos of her vacation in Milan with her boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal. Hina was in Cannes to present her first short film, Lines, based in Kashmir.
Hina, who shot her last episode for Kasautii Zindagi Kay in the role of Komolika before leaving for Cannes, shared several videos of her outing to Milan, showing how the couple enjoyed the short holidays.
Earlier, Rocky told a story of Insta in which we see Hina falling asleep by car and subtitled it "My Sleeping Beauty." Hina Khan replied to the video: "Hehehehehe, Naughty Boy."
Hina's presence in Cannes blunted quite a few feathers throughout the industry, including Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra , who rallied behind her after an editor dissected the Hina debate in Cannes. "Thanks for the good words Hina. It was so good to meet you and spend time with you. I am proud of what you have accomplished and I was pleased to highlight the talent that Indian industry has in every possible way. Wishing you all the luck of the world, forward and up! Xoxo #GirlsForGirls, "Priyanka wrote after Hina sent a long message of thanks to the star of Baywatch.
In response to the controversy, Hina told Hindustan Times: "I felt discouraged to hear something like that. Why would anyone watch TV? Give us the opportunity and we will shine. If you can not say anything good, do not say it either. I have worked hard to be where I am. I know how I managed to shoot the film and my filming on TV. But, I can never play a victim because I trust myself and I will prove my worth with time, with the grace of God. And I am grateful to so many people who have supported me. "
For her first appearance on the red carpet in Cannes, Hina chose a gray-embellished Ziad Nakad evening dress with dramatic sleeves. She was there for the screening of Brazilian film Bacurau on Wednesday.
