Waiting to see Irrfan Khan on the big screen is getting shorter as director Homi Adajania announces the end of Angrezi Medium with a flattering post for the actor and the film crew! Homi has published a comforting photo with the 52-year-old actor resting on the shoulder of his director.
"Irrfan Khan, you are amazing … and you are also a decent actor. I love you more than I do not know how to say, "wrote Homi on Instagram. He also added how much he wanted to make this film and that this trip was for him a roller coaster.
"I wanted to do this film knowing that it would be against all odds. I wanted to do it for all the wrong reasons to make a movie, but they looked so good and still are. It's a roller coaster of emotion more than anything else and I know how difficult it has been for everyone, "he added in an article.
The message continues:" Thanks to my team and casting for not having left the chances to compete. we. I really believe that our collective positivity and our celebration of life have allowed us that. Whatever the fate of this film, it has shown me a lighter way to be and I will always cherish it.
Homi's sentiments were hailed by other Bollywood celebrities, including actor Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Patralekha and director Zoya Akhtar who covered their love in the comments section.
The next Irrfan publication marks his return to the world of celluloid, after a brief pause that he took while he was seeking treatment for a neuroendocrine tumor in London. The film, also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan, was screened in Udaipur on April 5th.
Kareena will play a police officer in the film while Radhika will play Irrfan's daughter, who apparently wants to continue her studies in UNITED KINGDOM. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia. Irrfan had previously shared on his Twitter account a picture taken from the shooting of the film, where he had introduced his character, Champak, who owns a confectionery shop.

Deepak Dobriyal and Manu Rishi respectively play Irrfan's brother and cousin in the film. The trio runs candy shops and competes with each other. Angrezi Medium is the sequel to the hit movie Hindi Medium, starring Irrfan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan.
Irrfan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in March 2018. On April 3, via Twitter, he thanked everyone for his affection and support. He was last seen in Karwaan alongside Mithila Parker and Dulquer Salmaan. As part of his upcoming projects, Irrfan will also appear in 'Good News' alongside Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.
