Honda India sells 50,000 units of the new Amaze

Honda India has officially announced that its new compact sedan, the Amaze, has crossed the 50,000 sales mark. The model pbaded this milestone five months after its official launch in mid-May 2018.

According to Honda, the new Amaze currently contributes 50% of HCIL's total sales in April – September 2018. It is 50,000 fastest sales. number registered by any new model launched by Honda in India. The car has been well received in all markets, with sales accounting for 40% of Group 1 cities and 30% of Group 2 and Group 3 cities.

Unveiled at Auto Expo 2018, the new Amaze is available in 12 variants, 6 color options and with automatic petrol and diesel trim levels. We have already driven the car and you can read the review here. The Amaze is offered with a CVT diesel option of the first segment. It is the same four-cylinder 1.5 liter of the previous car that produces 100 hp / 200 Nm in manual variants and 80 hp / 160 Nm in models with CVT engine. Amaze's petrol models are equipped with a 1.2-liter four-cylinder producing 87 hp / 109 Nm and are offered with a five-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission.

The Amaze is Honda's rival with many personalities such as the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the Ford Aspire, the Volkswagen Ameo and the Hyundai Xcent.
