HOU LA LA! A government wants to raise the minimum wage of employees of the central administration of the 7th Commission of the remuneration

Central Government employees demand a further increase in the minimum wage, contrary to the recommendation of the 7th Remuneration Commission. Although many rumors related to the rise took place before the elections but nothing happened.

It is interesting to note that the return of Narendra Modi's government to the Center again gave hope for a rise for the lakhs of the employees. CG employees currently receive a minimum wage of 18,000 rupees. But they demand that the current wage is not enough to affect their financial situation. Therefore, given the current market scenario, it is necessary to raise the minimum wage to Rs 26,000 or Rs 8,000.

In the past, government employees went on strike and insisted that their demands be fair. could not witness any progress towards their request. It should be noted that the Minister of the Interior, Rajnath Singh, had then had a discussion with the concerned officials and also hinted that the Modi government was serious and concerned about the demand of the employees. Unfortunately, the general election has tarnished the trust of CG employees.

The Compensation Committee had already recommended that the salary matrix be reviewed periodically without waiting 10 years and that the salary of CG employees could be revised according to Aykroyd's formula. which takes into account the changes in commodity prices that make up an ordinary human basket.

A decision will probably be made in this regard as soon as possible. This may take a month or two, but it is approaching, as one manager said earlier, and also that the government is not against the employees who make up an important part of the system.

It will take time and perhaps late, but an appropriate decision will be made at the right time.

Apart from that, there were rumors that an increase in the minimum wage would be envisaged by the central government, but this will not be Rs. 8,000 as requested by the employees of the CG, but around 2,000 rupees.

Thus, central government employees must wait for the Modi government to take an oath and announce an increase in pay greater than that recommended by the 7th Pay Commission of Interest to the many CG employees.
