The events of the MCU have been planned for some time and it is clear to see looking back past movies. One of the Marvel franchise entries that clearly alluded to the events in Avengers: Endgame was the second release for the Earth's most powerful heroes, Avengers: Age of Ultron.
While this film mainly saw the superheroes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and others fighting against Ultron, they were also treated to visions by the brief villain Scarlet Witch. (Elizabeth Olsen) These visions bring more texture to the characters, but also suggest what would happen in Endgame and are themselves deepened by the events to come. This is how the film foreshadowed the decisive events of the fourth Avengers movie, but warning, will ruin Avengers: Endgame .

Early in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlet Witch Hexagonal Iron Man / Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and her abilities that she obtained through the HYDRA experiment using the mental stone. In this vision, Tony is witnessing a devastating invasion of the Earth by Chitauri, Hulk lying unconscious on the ground, Black Widow lying, Hawkeye still, Thor cold, and finally the Cape shield breaking in half on the ground.
Tony approaches Steve and checks his pulse before Steve wakes up and tells Tony, "You could have saved us, why did not you do more?" Steve dies then. This vision clearly predicts the possible invasion of Thanos' army into Avengers: Endgame, including the Chitauri, the broken shield and the losses suffered by the Avengers. It is also clearly indicated that Tony will be the one who will save the day of Thanos and put an end to the Infinity saga.
Thor
When Thor (Chris Hemsworth) gets caught by Scarlet Sorcière, he experiences the vision of a sumptuous late night in Asgard as they sensually dance and celebrate – but there is a Nightmarish quality to the procedure. Comrade Heimdall (Idris Elba) then approaches Thor. He says his eyes "see everything" and says "Thor will lead us to hell". He then says, "You are a destroyer, Odinson, see where your power leads." Then there are flashes of Infinity Stones and Vision Eyes (Paul Bettany) that open.
Not only does this allude to Vision's creation later in the movie using the Mental Stone, but it does incite Thor to embark himself on stone hunting forever after discussing his visions with Dr. Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard). Finally, the vision also hints at the end of the days of Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok and at the death of Heimdall in Avengers: Infinity War.
Grim.
Black Wid
This is as interesting as the only view Nat (Scarlet Johansson) has of the past – which in itself may be related to his lack of future. When Scarlet Witch casts a spell on Natasha Romanoff, Superspie has visions of backtracking to the Red Room Academy where she learned the tricks of the trade: ballerinas, shooting practices and conversations with her ruthless instructor, Madame B (Julie Delpy ). "The ceremony is necessary for you to take your place in the world," says Mrs. B. To whom Nat replies: "I have no place in the world".
"Exactly," says his instructor.
We learn that the ceremony is a procedure that leaves the widow unable to bear children. It's depressing. The vision could also foreshadow Nat's great moment in Endgame, while she sacrifices herself so that Clint can get the soulstone and reunite with her family. Well, it's pretty awful, is not it?
Captain America
This one is slightly more optimistic. Steve's vision is of the past and of what appears to be a fantasy of fulfillment of wishes. Looking at a 1940s dance, Steve (Chris Evans) wears his military uniform and is approached by his beloved Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). She says, "Are you ready for our dance?"

Plagued by insomnia after the invasion of aliens in New York, Stark built 42 Iron Man costumes and designed Ultron peacekeeping program. In a frantic race for power and control, Director Fury concealed the Tesseract nuclear power weapons and launched Project Insight. Both men acted for the same reason: to win the war even before it begins. During the process, the trust was put to the test, people died, the Avengers separated, S.H.I.E.L.D. fell, and we still lost. Whenever someone tries to win a war before it starts, innocent people die. Everytime. And now, the crushing weight of 50% of all living creatures rests on the little that remains to avenge them. #Avengers #CaptainAmerica #Marvel
Then continues: "The war is over, Steve, we can go back at home, imagine it. " What seems to be an empty fantasy, however, turns out to be exactly right in Endgame. The war in the infinite is over, Steve. You can go home.
We do not cry, you cry.
