- Calendars
Amazon highlights these answers work differently on Windows PCs than on the Alexa application. Windows 10 answer cards may have on-screen options that users can click or tap to get more information through a web browser. Users will need to allow the application to access the device location for certain location-based features to work. These settings are located in the Application or Manage Applications boxes, and then you can enable or disable the location in the settings area of the Amazon Alexa application. .
There are things that the Amazon app can not do on a PC or any other device. These unsupported features include:
- Volume and device-specific commands (see below for more information).
- Timers and alarms.
- Certain third-party media services (such as TuneIn)
- Exclusive offers to Alexa.
- Activate Alexa using your voice (to activate Alexa, open the Alexa application and press the Alexa button in the navigation bar, at the bottom of your screen.)
