Hrithik Roshan announced that his next film Super 30 will not be released on July 26, alongside Mental Hai Kya of Kangana Ranaut. He stated that he had taken this step "in order to save himself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence it would cause."

The decision was made after Mental Hai Kya's producer, Ekta Kapoor, changed the release date of the film. from June 21 to face Super 30 at the box office after taking "the recommendations of distributors, trade badysts and a leading research team".

Although the confrontation was seen as Hrithik vs Kangana at the box office, Ekta maintained that it will be a "liberation with dignity" and "there will be no spurt of mud". She also clarified that it was simply a "business decision".

However, fans of Hrithik and Kangana began to argue over social media shortly after the announcement of the clash. Kangana's sister, Rangoli Chandel, claimed in a series of tweets that Hrithik was trying to bring back the actress and Mental Hai Kya with a sneaky public relations tactic.

Now, Hrithik has decided to take a step back and avoid conflict. Here is his complete statement:

In order not to let my film be desecrated by another media circus, I decided to postpone the release of my film Super 30 in order to protect myself from personal traumas and

Despite the fact that the film is ready, I asked my producers to announce the next suitable date as soon as possible.

In recent years, to my utmost dismay, I have witnessed a lot of cheers and encouragement from what was / is an open case and blatant harbadment.

I must now patiently and silently wait for the collective consciousness of society to become acquainted with these questions in order to maintain our faith in the civility of our society.

This relentless helplessness must come to an end.
