A film that has been in the news for some time is Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30. The film made headlines for various reasons. But, now he is back in the news because of a problem related to Anand Kumar, by whom the film is inspired. According to the trailer, we see Hrithik Roshan in the role of Anand Kumar, a brilliant Bihar mathematician who wants to help impoverished children access IITs. However, Anand's claim that Super 30 is a biographical film about her life has upset IIT students who think the film is sending an incorrect message about her.

According to a mid-day report, the Guwahati High Court asked Anand Kumar, through a notice, to respond to a student-filed LIP, Avinash Baro, Bikash Das, Monjit Doley and Dhaniram Taw of IIT Guwahati against him. However, Anand Kumar did not respond to the review, prompting students to request a suspension of the Super 30 release, inspired by his life. According to the mid-day report, Amit Goyal, council of the 4 students, said that the facts reported in the teaser were sufficient to send a wrong message to the public and that Anand Kumar was celebrated as a hero.

According to the report, "(the film) seems in genuine. We have never tried to damage the film, but [Kumar] has a lawsuit against him. His response (to the PIL) does not (address) completely the allegations. "The glorification of Anand Kumar did not satisfy the 4 students of the IIT as they wanted it to reveal the names of the students who entered the IIT after joining its Super 30 batch in 2018. In addition, the CBFC giving the film a pure note embarrbaded the students and, therefore, they could ask for a reprieve for the release of the film. The legal adviser revealed that Anand had not yet given names to the High Court and that in such a situation, the Super 30 of Hrithik might send the wrong message.

In the reports, according to IIT students, Anand Kumar's claims that students would be admitted to IITs were false and they acted as a catalyst to incite more students to engage in his Super 30. However, when a student wanted to be admitted into the lot, he was redirected for admission to the Ramanujan School of Mathematics (Institute Kumar), where exorbitant fees of Rs 33,000 were charged.

Not so long ago, Super 30 also had problems as director of the film, Vikas Bahl was struggling with a controversy related to the movement Me Too in India. However, a week ago, the Internal Complaints Committee agreed with Bahl, who reinstated him as director of the film. In addition, there was a problem regarding the date of publication. The film was due out earlier on July 26, 2019. But because of a conflict with Ekta Kapoor's film, Hrithik met her and decided to pre-prepare her film. Now, Super 30 should be released on July 12, 2019.
