Actor Huma Qureshi boarded the casting of the director's upcoming director Zack Snyder, Army of the Dead.
The 32-year-old actor joins Dave Bautista in the Netflix project, which will mark Snyder's return to the director's post after a two-year hiatus, the streaming giant said in a statement.
Incidentally, the filmmaker, known for his work on DC movies Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice and the League of Justice, made his directorial debut 15 years ago with the zombie horror movie Dawn of the Dead.
Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera and Theo Rossi are also part of the cast.
The Army of the Dead follows a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, when a group of mercenaries takes the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to achieve the greatest flight ever attempted.
Joby Harold, Shay Hatten and Snyder write the screenplay for a story developed by the filmmaker.

Huma Qureshi is currently preparing for the release of her dystopian drama series, Leila. The first will be aired on Netflix on June 14th.
