The award was presented by the representative of Universal Book of Records India KV Ramana Rao and the Telangana representative, TM Srilatha.
Addressing ANI, Kumar said, "I launched the Serve Needy organization in 2014 and we now have about 140 volunteers. We have been doing this type of social activities since 2014. But today, I have been serving food to more than 1,000 people on its own. So it was a world record. "
