"I consider this absolutely wrong," Singh said a day after Swaraj held an online poll asking the online users if they approve of the tweets attacking her.
Singh was among the several political leaders in Swaraj. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee slammed the trolls targeting Sushma Swaraj.
"Strongly condemn the language used on the social media against @sushmaswaraj Ji." She is a senior politician. "We must respect each other and never indulge in any form of verbal abuse," Mamata said in a tweet.

Sushma Swaraj has been trolled on Twitter and accused of appeasing Muslims.
A Pbadport Seva Kendra official, Vikas Mishra, posted in Lucknow was transferred after the interfaith couple alleged that the official humiliated them at the pbadport office. According to the couple, Mishra asked the husband to convert to Hinduism and pulled up the wife for marrying a Muslim.
A section of social media had attacked Swaraj and the ministry for taking action against Mishra, claiming that he was just doing his duty.
The minister answered by a group of the abusive tweets directed at her. On Saturday, the external affairs minister organized an online poll asking if they approve of these tweets.
The voting ended 24 hours later with 57% of the people saying they "do not" approve of such tweets. Interestingly, a surprising 43% of the 124,305 pollsters answered "yes" to Swaraj's question.

Even her husband, Swaraj Kaushal, was a target of trolls' abusive tweet. Kaushal even tweeted a screenshot of a post by a Twitter user who asked him to "teach" the minister "not to do Muslim appeasement".
