On January 30, Warner Bros. announced that Batman's independent film, Batman, would be released in theaters in June 2021. Matt Reeves, who directed Cloverfield and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will direct the next feature film. However, Ben Affleck, who portrayed the Caped Crusader in Justice League and Batman v. Superman, will not return to the ranks. He tweeted a report in which it was announced that the new film would have a younger Bruce Wayne.

I do not understand why everyone hates @BenAffleck His batman was gloss. . One of the best we have had. He is also the closest to Batman physically from afar. The films may have been garbage dumps (with the exception of the BvS director's cut) but his performance was excellent.

He is the best Batman general to date. He just has inferior material with which to work. I like CBale as Bruce Wayne, but he was too small to be a credible Batman.
