The actor Irrfan Khan began filming the Hindi Medium sequel titled Angrezi Medium in Udaipur. The film was officially screened Friday in Udaipur and the first images show Irrfan in a healthier avatar.
The actor had returned from London last month after undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumor, which prevented him from working for about a year. Angrezi Medium is his highly anticipated film after the success of the original film in 2017.
Directed by Homi Adajania Cocktail and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film will tell a new story about the girl on the screen of Irrfan goes to London for higher education. While Kareena Kapoor is reportedly signing against the Irish character, Pataakha actor, Radhika Madan, has been confirmed for her daughter's role in the film.

Saket Choudhary, the original medium, was directed by Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. Irrfan had won several awards for his performance in the film.
After being seen occasionally with a mask, the actor had recently been seen removing his mask at the Mumbai airport when the paparazzi had clicked on his pictures. The actor finally announced his return a few days ago. He spoke to Twitter to share a note: "Maybe somewhere in the quest for victory, we forget how important it is to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints on these stages of my life, I want to take a break to be grateful to receive your immense love and support, it has soothed me in my healing process. I come back to you thanking you from the bottom of my heart. "
